It’s been a while since I’ve done one of these posts! I’ve been loving a few things of late that I wanted to share with you today.  I promise they are very much worth the share!

Below I share three things that are nourishing me on a very deep level. I hope you like these too!



At the very top of my list is the divine space KM Yoga which I’ve spoken about before here. I started attending this divine space KMYOGA almost a year a go. What can I say about this space? It’s simply exquisite, it has a peaceful energy from the moment you enter the studio and I always leave with a huge smile on my face. KMYOGA simply makes you feel at home.

I’ve recently completed the 40 day cleanse challenge where I was pretty much practicing Kundalini yoga everyday. When I couldn’t make the classes, I was doing a kriya from my own yoga space at home. I’ll admit it has been a challenging 40 days; we had to commit to 11mins of Sat Nam meditation daily which I found extremely difficult, if I’m been totally honest with you. As I was doing this meditation, I could feel intense anger rising from my lower chakras (but what came afterwards was a lightness and an opening so profound). Initially I was confused by the anger, as I expect meditation to make me more peaceful and hence, less angry. Meditation works on purifying the mind. We all have those thoughts we don’t want to have and express. No yogi wants to be angry (I know I certainly don’t want to be). So in the past, when these thoughts have risen I’ve realised that I’ve been suppressing them (like I’m sure many of you will admit you’ve been doing too) – similar to sweeping dirt under a carpet.

Sat Nam  meditation for me,  is like an intense Spring cleaning – its like picking up the carpet and giving it a good shake to clear the dirt away. So I’ve decided to continue with this meditation on a daily basis, I know I need this one in my life!

Meditation is an essential part of the cleansing and purification process. However, it doesn’t mean that you’re supposed to bite your husband’s or your children’s head off (although I’ve been guilty of this in the past!) – learn to become the observer and witness of your own thoughts (and emotions) in a detached manner (something I teach to my students in every class I teach). Simply observe the negative thoughts, but do not act on them.

Yoga Sutra, verse 1.12 abhyasa-vairagyabhyam tan nirodhah

One of the most important pathways to attain our true Self is described in Sutra 1.12: through consistent, devotional practice (abhyasa) and detachment from the results of that practice (vairagya) we can still our minds.

 “I’ve been practicing Kundalini for almost a year now and I’m starting to see some huge shifts in my body and mind. I feel joy and deep happiness when I’m practicing Kundalini yoga; it lifts me up and inspires me for more good work. I find the chanting and mantras so healing. I am finally finding my voice and opening my heart, allowing my connections to be stronger and truer – free to be me at long last! Kundalini Yoga has really inspired me to be more and to be the best I can be.”

Ooops sorry I got totally sidetracked there with meditation! Now back to KMYoga, if you are yet to try a class here, PLEASE do yourself a favor and get to one of these transformative classes soon. You won’t regret it!

Where do I even begin with this gorgeous e-book. Its simply beautiful, crafted by two very inspiring ladies Rachel from In Spaces Between and Tara from Such Different Skies . I believe this is an essential read for every woman. Its part storytelling where they both so openly share their stories and its part workbook where you get the opportunity to do the work. They ponder on dreams and visions, fear, self-sabotage, comparison, the Ego, the inner critic, stillness, balance, joy, creativity and self-expression – and lots more. This book is bursting full of juicy content, magic jumping from one page to the next. It’s been my weekend read for the past couple of weeks, I love nothing more than, to spend a few hours lying out in nature with my iPad in one hand and a journal in the other. I’m so grateful for these two incredible women whom I’ve had the pleasure and absolute honor to work with in the past. What they’ve created is a masterpiece, ”a piece of artwork” and you can just tell all the passion, love, creativity, and truth that’s been poured into this book. Its come at the right time for me! I look forward to delving deeper into my truth with the help of this beautiful creation.



Goddess has been showing up everywhere for me of late, any card I seem to pull mentions goddess or awakening the divine feminine. I think I’ve been suppressing my feminine energies for sometime to cope with my busy and modern day life.

Every woman is a unique figure of the divine feminine. To come into alignment with the divine feminine within us, is not about what divine feminine is or isn’t. It’s about releasing the things that aren’t allowing our own unique feminine spirit from radiating through us. It’s about recovering who we really are.

I believe divine feminine energy signifies the following features within the universe:

Restoration, life, renewal, creation, birth, healing, receptivity, openness, motherhood, nurturing, love, understanding, compassion, insight, intuition, wisdom, forgiveness, the moon, connection, harmony and sensuality.

To let the divine feminine within ourselves come to the surface, we need to search for these features within ourselves.

That’s exactly what I’ve been doing of late, as well as allowing myself to enjoy sensual pleasures such as a warm bubble bath with some of my favourite essential oils, purchasing some nice French lingerie (this has been lifting my spirit as well as making me feel feminine + yes it makes you feel tres sexy!) and wearing nice fragrances (since getting rid of toxic perfume last year, I’ve been on the hunt for some natural substitutes).

This beauiful goddess essential oil is perfect for just that ”embracing your divine feminine”, I apply it to my wrists and heart space and the smell is simply addictive!
