Over the next couple of episodes, I’m going to be sharing some key shifts with you on how you can start to really eliminate fatigue and gain true life energy in your life right now. One of those keys that I’m going to be sharing with you today or one of those key shifts I’m going to be sharing with you today is how to harness your negative mind. Did you know that you have three minds? You have your negative mind; your negative mind is basically there to kind of protect you so to speak. You have your positive mind and this has a really strong ability to see the positive in absolutely everything. Your negative mind has the ability to see the negative in absolutely everything. So the positive mind is in direct contrast to the negative mind which as I said it tends to only see the negative in everything and then you have your neutral mind. And this is your third mind and what this mind does is it takes information from both the positive mind and the negative mind. And then it makes a decision for you. The right decision for you. So the negative mind is there to protect us.
[00:01:38] But at the same time it can often really limit us. The problem is that an overactive negative mind can absolutely drain your life force and it can drain your life force very fast. What will happen is it can prevent you from really tapping into your highest potential, your creative life force energy. There are some telltale signs of when your negative mind might be out of balance. The first thing that you’re going to notice is that you’re going to have a very heavy head just full of fear. You will be living from that place every day, continuously you will be flooded with a mind just swirling with worries. You’ll be in a space of just constantly worrying about simple things, worrying about silly stuff. You might even have a head full of anxiety and just be riddled with so much self-doubt. When your negative mind is too strong, guess what can happen? It can completely crush your positive mind and it can also completely crush your neutral mind and this can leave you very stuck in your life. You might feel constant feelings of separation or disconnection or just a feeling of general flatness and sadness. This second mind (our negative mind) it also relates to our second energy center in the body. The second chakra which is our sacral chakra and the sacred chakra is situated in your sexual organs and basically, this is your creative center. So often when there are imbalances in your negative mind you will feel creatively stuck so there’ll be imbalances in your second chakra Sacral Chakra.
[00:03:31] So how do you relate to this mind? Well the first thing to note is that you can’t ignore this mind you. You absolutely cannot do this. You can’t suppress it either. You have to listen to it but you have to listen to it in a very balanced way. Now what I mean by a balanced way is that you have to relate to it in a loving way in a compassionate way and in a very supportive way. So how do you do that? Well, the first thing you must practice is self-awareness. You must pay attention to your words and to your thoughts. Often we’re just simply unaware of how much negativity we are projecting on a daily basis. So this is really the first step and you must start paying attention to those negative words and thoughts on a daily basis. So self awareness is key. Once you begin to notice these patterns of your mind constantly saying stuff like “I can’t” or “I don’t like”. What you need to do is change and reverse these words, so in that moment catch, snap it and reverse it. Turn it around and stead of saying I “can’t”switch it to something you can do or instead of saying “I don’t like” switch it to something that you do like. This is a great way to just work with our minds in a very balanced way. The third thing you can do is keep a daily journal. Journalling is so powerful and we often have our energy for life and students as part of their journalling practice track how often negativity is there each day.
[00:05:04] This further increases awareness and then you need to begin to differentiate between discomfort and pain so that you can learn to eliminate the negativity you associate with discomfort. So let me explain what I mean by this. If you’re feeling true physical pain. This is a sure sign that something’s wrong and it must be corrected. However discomfort is not pain. On the other hand this is about moving against resistance. It’s actually about stretching you muscles that might have been used for quite some time or it’s about developing an awareness that’s new to us. That is truly what allows us to grow to evolve and transform. And a final step that you can take to really harness and train your negative mind is I dare you to set up a challenge for yourself set yourself a challenge of living 40 days without saying anything negative to anybody about anyone or anything including you. Now that’s going to be a big challenge for your negative mind. But it’s a fun really eye-opening and very rewarding experience. You’ll learn a lot about yourself and your negative mind from this exercise. A negative mind can wreak havoc in your life if you’re not careful. It can really start to wear you down. It can start to manifest within your physical body and some of the manifestations that can start to happen in your physical body are kidney problems, hormonal issues and a hugely prevalent one in modern society today is adrenal exhaustion and chronic fatigue. If you’re often feeling tired and burnt out, I can tell you with certainty that your negative mind is calling it to attention. It needs your attention.
[00:06:54] Many women that enter into our Energy For Life Academy program are completely burnt out by the time they come to me. They are exhausted, depleted, and worn out and they’re struggling to get up out of bed in the morning. When they do finally arise by pressing the snooze button, maybe five six seven times. They’re literally dragging their feet through the day, their energy is inconsistent. Come the end of the day they are just exhausted by 6:00/7:00 p.m. falling into bed. Many of them have a adrenal exhaustion. Some of them even in chronic fatigue and many of them have had these energy issues for a very long time. Some of them have been dealing with these issues for the last couple of decades. Let me share an inspiring story with you today from one of our Energy For Life graduates Tanya. Take Tanya for instance, Tanya was working in banking. She came to me because she’d been suffering from depression for a very long time. On top of that, she was feeling incredibly worn out, depleted from over giving that she was unable to actually speak up for herself. This constantly left her feeling insufferably drained and just feeling worthless and useless. She started this process and she started to see results immediately. It wasn’t just this process, there were other processes involved but this was one of the processes that I took her through. She started to see immediate results in the very first week of our work together. As we worked on changing her mindset her life changed for the better. She started to regain her vital energy again and she started to get clarity back. She could clearly see how her previously disempowered thinking had been like this leech. And it was just draining her life force energy.
[00:08:45] Now this woman has been completely transformed. The tools that she learnt have become second nature and have actually become part of her morning ritual her part of her morning routine. Today she is a different woman. She’s confident she’s optimistic and she’s developed most importantly an empowered mindset. Very different from when she first came to me. Now that’s the power of harnessing your negative mind. Of course she’s also had the powerful technology of Kundalini in her energy toolkit as well. And that’s what we’ll talk about next.
